Granite has applications ranging from residential to heavy commercial. Being one of the densest and hardest stones available, granite can be used in counter tops, walls, and floors. Its mirror finish when polished and depth of texture from the minerals found in it give a truly elegant look.
Houston Slate Flooring
Slate flooring has recently made its way in to the industry again. Truly random patterns that feature all the colors of the rainbow can be found. We have also started to carry an assortment of honed slate patterns; these tiles have been honed and polished to give a smooth finish similar to that of marble.

One thing to be wary of when buying this product is filler material. While all travertine is very porous and must have some filler, it is not desirable to have that be more than 15%-25% of the face of the tile. Cheaper versions will see 40%-55% of the face in filler and will affect the life and structure of the tile.
